BlackLight
Presented by Resident Artist, Crux Collective
BlackLight is a BIPOC movement arts showcase centering artists who have long existed in plain sight, yet often remained unseen in traditional performance spaces. Through aerial and grounded movement arts, pole, dance, and embodied storytelling, this show explores what it means to be fully illuminated, creating a space where movement artists of color are not only featured, but fully centered.
Curated by Luxe Coleman sponsored by Crux Collective.

Flay's Anatomy: Flesh Before Breakfast
Fans among the general public are flocking to see the latest episode of the hit serial Flay's Anatomy! a pleasure cruise narrative of acute physiological interest. Day by corpuscular day, from the botched rump injection to the hostile realms of the epidermis, we have followed our passengers deeper into the trembling interiors. But as we descend among the flesh's most turbulent verges, the staff's attention appears more fixed upon the interiors of all aboard. How can they hope to sustain them all? How to satisfy the appetites of -- everybody? Of every beast? And not to mention all the mannikin subordinates, whom, through thick and thin, Fortuna has seen fit to bring along?
