This two-day workshop will offer a comprehensive overview of our process of developing an ensemble of multidisciplinary artists. Combining the language of contemporary dance and physical theatre, Loom Lab co-artistic directors Re Edahl and Cal O'Brien will guide participants through a deep-dive in connecting movement, voice & text, narrative structure, and more to harness the power of an interdisciplinary ensemble.
Expect to feel both a strong sense of presence and community within the room and to walk away with new tools for your artistic practice. This workshop is for performers of all disciplines including, but not limited to dancers, actors, puppeteers, and circus artists.
